"Illumination" is a print taken from an original encaustic wax painting. 
The lighthouse  shines out across the sea, helping guide the fishing boats safely away from danger. I live in a beautiful county - cornwall. Fishing is part of the stories and history that encompass where we live. 
 
This painting celebrates the joy of the returning fishermen, the colour of their boats on our horizon, and honours the sea in all its glory, danger and bountiful treasures.
 
My work revolves around my reflections, observations and interactions with people and the raw and beautiful land and sea scapes that surround me.  All my prints are inspired by my life living in the beautiful county of Cornwall, surrounded by over 360 miles of coast and pounded by the westerly winds. 
 
Each print is printed onto archival german etching paper which has a lovely matt, textured and velvety feel to it. It has a weight of 310gsm. Each print is also signed by myself.
It is currently available as an a4 / a3 print 
A4 size is  210 x 297 mm /    8.3 x 11.7 in / 21cm  x 29.7cm
A3 size is  297 x 420 mm / 11.7 x 16.5 in / 29.7 cm x 42 cm
All prints have a white border = please ask if you would like it printed to the edge of the paper.
It comes with a card backing and within a hard backed envelope to keep it safe on its travels.
